Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

River levels remain high but are beginning to fall at the Buxton river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall. Consequently, the risk of flooding is reducing. Areas most at risk are Cheedale, Cressbrook, Upperdale, Millers Dale, and A6 at Buxton.
Further showers are expected overnight.
We are closely monitoring the situation.
Please plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded and avoid contact with flood water.
This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 21/02/22, or as the situation changes.
