River levels remain high and the risk of flooding continues. Areas most at risk are low-lying agricultural land and roads including Ashford and Bakewell areas. Rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. River levels at Ashford in the Water Gauge have risen due to the recent rainfall. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 17:00 today, 22/02/2026, or as the situation changes.
