Flood warning

Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected when river levels are at their highest from 11:55 PM on 16/10/2024.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Wyre, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the area of St Michaels that is to the north of the River Wyre, including farm land to the north of the village.
Further flooding is expected throughout the morning as river levels are expected to remain high due to heavy rainfall.
We are closely monitoring the situation and checking rivers for blockages.
