High river levels are expected to cause flooding overnight.
Flooding is expected when river levels are at their highest from 2:00 AM on 17/10/2024.
Areas most at risk include the area of St Michaels that is to the south of the River Wyre.
Weather conditions are expected to improve during the morning.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and checking flood defences.
Start acting on your flood plan if you have one.
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
