Flooding possible. Be prepared.
River levels are high and rising on the Rivers Pont and Blyth from the overnight persistent rainfall into Thursday morning, 17/10/2024.
Flooding is possible to riverside footpaths, low lying land and roads throughout Thursday, and into Friday morning as river levels remain high.
We will continue to monitor levels closely and do not anticipate issuing any flood warnings. Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 11:00 AM on 18/10/2024, or as the situation changes.
