Flooding expected. Take action now.
Rising river levels are expected to cause flooding throughout the evening.
Flooding is expected on 09 December 2025 due to yesterdays heavy rain.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Middle Dorset Stour and River Iwerne, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Havelins and the SPFA sports pavilion areas in Stourpaine.
Further flooding is expected overnight and into tomorrow as river levels are rising due to heavy rainfall last night. Weather conditions are forecast to improve tomorrow with no significant rainfall forecast.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Move family, pets and cars to safety and turn off gas, electricity and water if it is safe to do so and activate any flood protection products you may have.
