Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are rising at the Anslow gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall. Consequently, flooding of property is expected today Thursday, 22/02/24. We expect flooding to affect properties around The Lawns, Burnside, Brookside, Alderbrook Close and Station Road.
Further rainfall is forecast over the next 12 hours.
We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are actively checking river levels and the weather forecast. Please avoid contact with flood water and call 999 if in immediate danger. Please move family, pets, possessions, valuables and cars to safety and activate any property flood protection products you may have, such as flood barriers and air brick covers.
