WARNING UPDATE. Flooding is expected in Rothes (River Spey). Act now.
Water levels on the River Spey are high following heavy rain on Sunday night and Monday morning. Although conditions improved for a time on Monday afternoon, there was more rainfall on Monday night and into Tuesday. The latest rain will cause the river level to rise further throughout Tuesday and may reach higher river levels than on Monday.Agricultural land, the sewage treatment works, and low lying properties and roads in and around Rothes are at risk of flooding from the River Spey.
