Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

At Ashurst and Woodlands, the river is high and rising rapidly. Heavy and persistent rain has fallen over the last 18 hours with 35mm recorded at Lyndhurst. This is a significant amount in a short period of time. From 05:00 this morning (Monday 27/01/25), flooding is expected to impact Ashurst Bridge and property at Woodlands Road. The river will peak at 06:00. Showers are forecast throughout Monday (27/01/25), with up to 20mm possible. Our operations staff are ensuring the Bartley Water is kept free of blockage. We will continue to monitor the river. Please take appropriate action to protect your property. This Flood Warning will be updated by 14:00 Monday (27/01/25).
