Heavy rain has fallen in the Lower Witham catchment causing Ruskington Beck to rise. Low lying areas near to Ruskington Beck are already flooded and we now expect properties in Ruskington to be affected. Low lying properties near the river on High Street, Chapel Street and Manor Street in Ruskington are expected to be affected first. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on 07/01/25, or before if the situation changes.
