Coastal conditions should ease for the 12/03/20 high tide at 21:30. There is no longer a threat of flooding, though standing water and debris may still remain. The peak tide of this tidal cycle was Wednesday night, 11/03/20. Subsequent tides will be lower.
We continue to monitor the situation. Our incident response staff are checking the condition of defences.
Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths and roads and see the GOV.UK website for a 5 day flood forecast.
