Due to the heavy rainfall which we’ve seen in the Egremont catchment, river and beck levels have now started to rise.
Residents are strongly urged to take action now. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
The current forecast is for rainfall to ease later this afternoon.
We will be closely monitoring the situation throughout the day and we will update this message as the situation changes.
