Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

High tides today may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible from 18:00 to 20:00 on 27/09/2026. 
High tides this evening may lead to flooding.  

Flooding is forecast to affect locations at Porlock Bay, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around the coastline between Gore Point and Hurlstone Point including Porlock Weir. The highest tide is at 19:15 on Sunday 27/09/2026 with a peak height of 6.19m and a F5 westerly wind. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 9:00AM on 28 September 2026 or as the situation changes.
