Flooding expected. Take action now.
Flooding is expected for Topsham over the high tide this evening, Friday 9th November.
High water at Exmouth is at 19:45, times of High Water will vary along the coast. Strong south south west winds up to Force 8 and wave heights of 3.2m are forecast which may cause wave overtopping of sea defences. Expect tides to be up to 530 millimetres higher than predicted on tide tables.
People are advised to stay away from risk areas and take care next to the coast.
Environment Agency staff will continue to monitor tide levels, and issue updates as required.
Detailed tide information for those who use it: The forecast high tide level is 2.67 m AOD, this is 530 millimetres above astronomical tide level. Wind speeds peak at south south west Force 8.
