Flood alert

River levels remain high in response to recent heavy rainfall. Areas most at risk include the South East Holderness area including Winestead, Patrington and Kilnsea. Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses, and do not attempt to walk, drive or cycle through flood water. No further significant rainfall has been forecasted. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and consider activating your flood plan if you have one. This message will be updated by 9pm on Wednesday, 08/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
