Flooding expected. Take action now.
Property flooding is possible overnight. River levels are high on the South Marston Brook as a result of heavy rainfall from Storm Bert. Further rainfall is forecast overnight, therefore, flooding of property and roads is possible later this evening and overnight, 24/11/2024, especially in the Quarry Brook Close and Greenfields areas. We expect river levels will rise again if higher rainfall totals are observed. We are closely monitoring the situation.
Move possessions and valuables off the ground or to safety. Activate any property flood protection products such as flood barriers. This message will be updated tomorrow morning, 25/11/2024, or as the situation changes.
