Flood alert

High tides on Tuesday may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible for 1 hour either side of Tuesday morning's tide at 11:39 on 03/02/2026 and 14:15 on 03/02/2026. 
The weather increases tide table values by 0.51 m. Total forecast tide is 5.15 metres Chart Datum (2.41 mAOD) at Southampton. Light Easterly Force 2 wind. Very minor impact flooding will affect the lower floor level of Eling Tide Mill and boat yards at Bursledon. Road and car park flooding may occur at The Quay Hamble, Magazine Lane at Marchwood and Shore Road in Hythe. Tuesday's tide at 23:54 03/02/2026 is forecast to be 19 cm lower (2.22 mAOD). 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses .
