Flooding expected. Take action now.
Strong winds and spring tides may cause large waves and spray overtopping on the coast this morning.
Tides are expected to be higher than usual due to the forecast windy weather conditions during the next two Spring tides.
Areas most at risk include The High Street, The Square, The Parade and The Mowlem.
Flooding is affecting The High Street, The Square, The Parade and The Mowlem from 9:00 AM on 28/03/2024.
The next high tide is expected to be higher than normal and may result in us issuing a further warning.
We will continue to monitor levels closely.
Please stay away from beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as the expected large waves and sea spray will be dangerous.
This message will be updated by 5:00 PM on 29/03/2024, or as the situation changes.
