Flood warning

This message has been issued because some minor flooding to low lying land, roads and riverside areas is likely for the evening of Saturday 26th December through to Sunday 27th December. River levels are beginning to drop, but will remain responsive to further rainfall. Areas most at risk are riverside areas in Earsham, Bungay and Ditchingham including the A143. The forecast is for some heavy rainfall expected during the early hours of Sunday 27th December, which will pass quickly, but may be intense and could lead to river levels begining to rise again and some surface water problems. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. We are monitoring the situation, and will update this message as necessary.
