Flooding expected. Take action now.

Flood warning

Tide locking, where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, is expected to cause flooding today. 
Flooding is expected from 11:30am to 3:00pm today, Sunday 26th October 2025.  
Areas most at risk are in Reedham, Cantley and Brundall. Roads affected include Ferry Road in Reedham, the A47 and the railway line between Reedham and Brundall. The high tide overnight tonight is not expected to be as high, and we expect levels in the Broads to start returning to normal soon. 
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels . 
Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded . 
This message will be updated by 5:00PM on 26 October 2025 or as the situation changes.
