Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

No further rain is forecast overnight however river levels remain and surrounding washlands are filling. Flooding remains possible on Saturday 15 November. Locations most affected will be Lower River Hull area, including Cottingham, Kirk Ella, Anlaby, Hessle, Bransholme, and Kingston upon Hull. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 8:00AM on 16 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
