Tide locking, where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, today may lead to flooding. 
Flooding is possible between 6:30pm and 8:30pm tonight, on Monday 11th May 2026. 
We expect to see high water levels in Brundall and Reedham riverside areas. River levels will remain high this evening due to tide locking, which is where tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to the sea. 
We are closely monitoring the situation . 
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water . 
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on 12 May 2026 or as the situation changes.
