Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Tide locking, where high tides restrict normal drainage of the river out to sea, over the next two days may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 3pm to 6pm on Friday 16 October and again overnight from 3am to 6am on Saturday 17 October.
We expect to see high water levels around Potter Heigham, Wroxham boat yards and Ferry Road in Horning. Levels can take several hours to peak.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
This message will be updated by 10:00AM on Saturday 17 October or as the situation changes.
