Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High tides this afternoon may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from 03:30 PM to 05:30 PM on Thursday 29th October.
River levels are expected to be high as a result of spring tides.
The next high tide at Richmond at 04:30 PM on 29/10/2026, may result in brief low-level flooding of riverside roads and open spaces.
Astronomical tide levels are falling. The river flow at Teddington Weir is 8 cubic metres per second and is steady. We anticipate the flows to remain low for the next few days.
We are closely monitoring the situation .
Avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
This message will be updated by 6:00PM on Thursday 29 October or as the situation changes.
