Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels are forecast to rise at the Keadby River gauge as a result of high spring tides. Flooding is possible on high tides this evening between 7pm and 9pm on 10/09/2025. Areas most at risk are Keadby, Amcotts, Owston, Burringham, Gunness, Althorpe, East Butterwick, Flixborough, Gunness Lane and, Neap House road.

We expect river levels to remain high until Thursday (11/09/2025).
We are closely monitoring the situation.

Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
