Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

Rising river levels overnight may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible from the early hours of 04 November 2025 .
Locations most affected will be low lying land and roads near to the river Lune, Rawthey, Dee and other watercourses from Tebay to Kirkby Lonsdale including Sedbergh and Killington.
We are clearing blockages from debris screens and closely monitoring the situation.
Never drive through flood water, just 30cm of fast flowing water is enough to move your car .
