Flood alert

High river levels may lead to flooding overnight. Flooding is possible overnight into Wednesday 25 March 2026. Locations most affected will be low lying land around the River Ure and tributaries from its source downstream to Kilgram. River levels remain high due to ongoing heavy rainfall which is expected to clear overnight. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. This message will be updated by 11:00AM on 25 March 2026 or as the situation changes.
