Flooding possible. Be prepared.
Flooding of low-lying land and roads is possible throughout today, 15 November 2025. Areas most at risk are low-lying roads and riverside areas around Haverhill, Clare and Sudbury, including Kedington, Sturmer, Steeple Bumpstead, Cavendish, Bridge Street and Long Melford. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water. The weather forecast is improving, and we expect levels to start returning to normal soon. This message will be updated by 10am on Sunday 16 November or as the situation changes.
