Flood warning

River levels are high on the River Weaver due to rainfall.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the River Weaver, with low lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around properties along New Road, Winsford Bridge and the Marina.
River levels are expected to remain high.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and re-issue this alert/warning if necessary.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water.
This message will be updated by as the situation changes.
