WARNING. Flooding is expected in West Benbecula. Act now.
The prevailing weather forecast, along with very high tides means that flooding from the sea is expected. Flooding is possible of low-lying land, roads and properties along the coastline between Creagorry and Balivanich, particularly at Baile nan Cailleach (Stinky Bay). Gale force south westerly winds also means that waves may cause wave overtopping and cover roads with debris. The highest risk is either side of the high tides, which at Balivanich are today Tuesday 9th at 22:00 BST.
