Water levels in the Western Yar at Freshwater have now fallen. 40mm of rain fell in 3 hours up to 06:00 this morning, Friday (29/08/25). Further short showers are expected throughout the day, but river levels are not expected to rise significantly again. We continue to monitor the forecast and will issue further advice if the situation changes.
