WARNING. Flooding is expected in Westray. Act now.
A combination of high tides and prevailing weather conditions means that flooding from the sea is expected on Westray. Any low-lying coastal roads and properties across the island exposed to the prevailing wind will be subject to significant wave spray impacts. Wave overtopping is expected to affect low lying parts of Pierowall. Flooding impacts are expected around the time of high tide Sunday 20th at 23:45 BST.
