Flooding expected. Take action now.
Heavy rain has fallen in the Willow Brook catchment causing Willow Brook to rise. Low lying areas near to the brook are already flooded and we expect properties to be affected. Low lying properties near the brook on Chapel Lane are expected to be affected first. Levels are expected to remain high for several days. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine on Tuesday, 26th November, or before if the situation changes.
