Flooding possible. Be prepared.
There is a risk of flooding as a result of the combination of the high tides and weather conditions for the morning high tide on Saturday 6th December. The next high tide at Newport is expected to occur at approximately 7:30 AM. Flooding of low-lying land and roads is expected. Be careful on roads, low lying land, close to the estuary. We will continue to monitor the situation.
