Flood warning

Heavy rain has fallen in the River Nene catchment over the last few days. This has caused the River Nene to rise, and levels are expected to remain high for several days. Low lying areas near to the river are flooded and properties in Wellingborough may be affected. Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings. Please avoid contact with flood water. Our staff are out in the area to check the flood defences, clear blockages, and assist the emergency services and council. We will be closely monitoring the situation and this message will be updated online and on FloodLine by Friday 29th November, or before if the situation changes.
