Flooding possible. Be prepared.

Flood alert

River levels are falling but remain high. Flooding is still possible for the next few days. The B1041 between Little Paxton and St Neots may become impassable due to flood water. This message applies to this road only. The Environment Agency are liaising with Cambridgeshire Highways, who will decide whether to close the roads. The forecast is dry today and tomorrow but unsettled from Sunday into next week, further rainfall will keep levels high or push them up again. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation and will update this message by 5pm, Friday 04/10/24.
