Flood alert

River levels are falling but remain high in response to recent rainfall. Flooding is possible throughout today, Friday 29 November 2024. The B1041 between Little Paxton and St Neots may become impassable due to flood water. This message applies to this road only. The Environment Agency are liaising with Cambridgeshire Highways, who will decide whether to close the road. The forecast for tomorrow is currently dry. But, river levels will remain high. Take care on riverside roads and footpaths, and don't put yourself in unnecessary danger. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 6pm today, Friday 29 November 2024.
