Flooding possible. Be prepared.
High river levels on Tuesday may lead to flooding.
Flooding is possible on 27 January 2026 from 03:00 as a lot of rain is forecast (25mm).
If as much rain falls as forecast, flooding could affect land, roads and gardens at Woodlands and Ashurst. There could also be impacts at Totton, Rumbridge and Eling, over high water. High tide at Southampton is at 05:24 and at 06:19 on 27/01/2026. Higher river levels than Wednesday, 21/01/2026, are expected. Rain associated with Storm Chandra is forecast this evening, overnight and into tomorrow. River levels and flood risk will remain high throughout tomorrow.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels .
Consider activating any flood protection products you may have . Flood water could be deep, avoid flooded roads.
