River levels are rising on Bedale Beck due to recent rainfall. Areas most at risk include Bedale from Emgate and The Bridge to Brookside Avenue. Rain is expected to clear this morning and levels will peak and fall later on Wednesday, 01/01/2025. Avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and do not walk or drive through floodwater. Please put your flood plan into action. We will continue to monitor river levels closely. This message will be updated by 13:00 on Wednesday, 01/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
