River levels continue to rise on Bedale Beck due to recent rainfall. Areas most at risk include Bedale from Emgate and The Bridge to Brookside Avenue. River levels are expected to peak and fall later today, Wednesday 01/01/2025. Avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and do not walk or drive through floodwater. Please put your flood plan into action. We continue to monitor river levels closely. This message will be updated by 09:00PM on Wednesday, 01/01/2025, or as the situation changes.
