River levels are rising rapidly on the Belford Burn due to heavy rainfall.
Flooding is expected at properties and low lying areas around Bluebell Farm, West Street bridge, central bridge and South Road from 01:30 PM on 27/12/2023.
Further heavy rainfall is forecast throughout the day.
We will continue to monitor the forecast.
Monitor local water levels and weather conditions. Consider putting your flood plan into action. You should avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
