Flooding is expected on Saturday morning.
Heavy rain has fallen in the Bodmin area and our trash screen at Flaxmoor Terrace has blocked with debris which is causing Bodmin Town Leat to rise rapidly and is now overtopping. Property at Flaxmoor Terrace is expected to start flooding.
Flood waters may be deep and fast flowing in these areas. Residents are strongly urged to take action now.
Remain safe and be aware of your local surroundings.
We are closely monitoring the situation and have staff in the area. This message will be updated as the situation changes.
