Wednesday's early morning tide at 01:00 on 10/04/2024 is higher than normal due to unsettled weather with strong Westerly Force 5 winds. The weather increases tide table values by 0.09 m. The total forecast tide is 5.29 metres Chart Datum (2.55 mAOD) at Chichester Harbour. While the tide remains higher than normal, it is forecast to be approximately 40cm lower than Monday evening and waves smaller too. A Flood Alert remains in force to describe minor flood impacts. For 1 hour either side of high water, flooding will affect Shore Road, and possibly Bosham High Street in Bosham. Tide levels will continue to fall for the week ahead. We continue to monitor the forecast. If you have it, please install flood protection 1 hour before high tide. We will re issue this Flood Warning if property flooding is expected.
