Flooding expected. Take action now.
High river levels may cause flooding today 19 December 2025. River levels remain high but are falling in the upper catchment. Levels at Bradford-on-Avon continue to rise but appear to be slowing and are expected to peak in the evening of 19 December 2025.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Avon, particularly properties at the Bullpit in Bradford on Avon. If river levels continue to rise the A363 Silver Street at the Bull Pit and Town Bridge maybe closed and will not be passable, seek alternative routes. Generally drier conditions are forecast in the coming days but with some rain on Saturday and Sunday. We are closely monitoring the situation and will issue updates as necessary. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water.
