Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have peaked but are still expected to cause flooding throughout the day today.
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around riverside properties in Chippenham.
No further heavy rainfall is forecast today.
We are monitoring rainfall and river levels and checking rivers for blockages.
Avoid using low lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses.
