Flooding is expected on 15 November 2025. River levels remain high but have stabilised and are expected to fall through the afternoon on Saturday 15/11/2025.
Areas most at risk include riverside properties in Chippenham
Flooding is forecast to affect locations near the Bristol Avon, with low lying land and roads expected to be most affected, particularly around Areas most at risk include riverside properties in Chippenham
Drier conditions are forecast in the coming days and conditions are expected to continue to improve. Properties with flood protection measures we advise these are installed now. Avoid driving through deep water as this poses a significant danger to life. We are closely monitoring the situation. Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water Refer to Local Authority websites for any road closures. This message will be updated by 12:00PM on 16 November 2025 or as the situation changes.
