Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels have peaked but are still high on Brompton Beck due to heavy rainfall. Flooding is forecast to affect locations near Brompton Beck, with low-lying land expected to be most affected, particularly around Water End, Fullicar Lane, Cockpit Hill and Station Road. We will continue to monitor levels closely. Avoid using low-lying footpaths and any bridges near local watercourses and do not attempt to walk or drive through flood water. This message will be updated by 10:00am on Tuesday 30/01/2024, or as the situation changes.
