Flooding expected. Take action now.
River levels are reacting quickly, and rising sharply in response to Storm Babet. Flooding is expected from now and is likely to continue through the night. Areas most at risk are Ramsey Road in Kings Ripton, Bridge Road, Causeway Road, Bull Lane and Illings Lane in Broughton, Manor Street, Pipkins Close and Bridge Street in Wistow, Brookfield Way and High Street in Bury and High Street, Crown Mews and Hollow Lane in Ramsey.
Further light rainfall is expected over the next 24 hours which will keep river levels high. Be ready to take action to protect your property if flooding is expected. We are monitoring the situation. We will update this message by 9am tomorrow, 23/01/22.
