This Flood Warning has been removed for the wider area between Dungeness and Rye. However, a Flood Alert remains in force for the wider area so flooding may still affect roads and low lying land. In addition, a specific Flood Warning is likely to be issued at Denge this afternoon as a result of damage to the flood defence at Jury’s Gap. We are closely monitoring the tidal forecast and inspect flood defences. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and our partners.
