This Flood Warning has been removed as property flooding is no longer expected around Dungeness and Rye area. However, a Flood Warning message will be issued for Jury’s Gap area as local cottages might be at risk for the next few tides. Please be careful along beaches, promenades and coastal footpaths as large waves and sea spray are still dangerous. We are closely monitoring the tidal forecast and inspecting flood defences and will re-issue Flood Warnings, if required. We continue to monitor the situation. Our incident response staff are liaising with emergency services and our partners.
